Popular social media influencer Logan Paul told Christian podcaster and street evangelist Bryce Crawford that the darkest time he has ever faced in his life was shortly after he publicly disrespected God.
In a recent episode of his "IMPAULSIVE" podcast, Paul, 31, told the 22-year-old Jesus in the Street founder that he felt “the wrath of God” shortly after he “mocked God.” While he didn’t explicitly name the infamous episode, Paul was referring to episode 356 of his podcast in 2022, when he aggressively mocked and belittled the Christian faith of his then-co-host, George Janko.
In the episode, Paul suggested that Janko should see a therapist because he didn’t think “Jesus is evolving you in a way that you could be [better].” “It was pretty dark. Basically, actually, on this podcast … I felt like I had disrespected God. I had mocked God,” Paul told Crawford. “I shortly thereafter felt the wrath of God. It was crazy. It was almost instantaneous.
And at the time I was just like, why is all this happening right now? How is this possible? It was dark. It was the darkest time of my life,” he said. A month after the explosive episode that drew significant backlash, Paul apologized and shared how he felt God responded to his comments to Janko. “I’m not going to even say what I said, and I’ll tell you why.
The following three weeks have been the hardest period of my f—— life. Buddy, God kicked me in the d— as hard as He fucking could. As soon as it started happening, I went There’s no way,” Paul said in 2023. He then shared details on how he felt God had humbled him for the disrespect.
