Nigerian winger Moses Usor is a major doubt for LASK’s UEFA Champions League encounter against Liverpool on Wednesday. The Austrian side will welcome the Premier League giants to the Raiffeisen Arena for their Matchday Two fixture. Usor picked up a shoulder injury during LASK’s 2-0 home defeat to Rapid Wien on Sunday, leaving the 24-year-old racing against time to be fit for the crucial clash.

LASK head coach Dietmar Kühbauer has provided an update on the Nigerian winger’s fitness ahead of Wednesday’s encounter. “With Mo, it’s the shoulder joint that is a bit injured. I hope it won’t take too long,” Kühbauer was quoted as saying by Laola. “George appears to have a muscle injury. He definitely won’t be available on Wednesday,” he added.

Usor has enjoyed a productive campaign for the Black and Whites, registering two goals and three assists in eight appearances across all competitions this season. His potential absence would be a concern for LASK as they prepare to face Liverpool in the European competition.
