A cross-over romance is currently capturing the attention of both sports and music fans, as USMNT star Christian Pulisic and country music rising star Megan Moroney have sparked heavy dating rumours. The unexpected pairing has social media detectives working overtime as followers piece together clues from digital interactions and shared circles. The latest clue came from Moroney’s trip to Italy, where she shared pictures and videos while traveling during her European tour.
Fans quickly focused on one clip because Moroney appeared to be wearing a jersey from Pulisic’s PUMA USA collection. Whiskey Riff reported on September 12 that the jersey looked similar to one associated with Pulisic. That alone does not prove that it belonged to the soccer star, but the timing caught people’s attention because Pulisic plays for AC Milan in Italy.
The potential pairing brings together two massive pop-culture spheres, elite international soccer and contemporary country music, drawing the kind of intense public fascination usually reserved for Hollywood power couples. As of now, neither Pulisic nor Moroney has publicly addressed or confirmed the rumors, leaving supporters eagerly waiting to see if they will go public or keep things under wraps.
