Enyimba extended their unwanted Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) record after losing 1-0 to Inter Lagos on matchday 4 fixture in Aba on Sunday. Ezekiel Moses was the hero for Inter Lagos, as his 19th minute goal was enough to secure the win. According to Opta Nigeria, the result means Enyimba have now failed to win any of their last nine home league matches they trailed at half time.
The last time the Aba Elephants won after trailing at home at halftime was on July 2021, when they came from behind to beat Jigawa Golden Stars 2-1.
