Brighton & Hove Albion have completed the signing of Nigeria international Femi Azeez from Millwall for an undisclosed fee, Completesports.com reports. Azeez has signed a four-year contract with the Seagulls after completing his move from the Sky Bet Championship club. The 25-year-old made 77 appearances for Millwall across all competitions, registering 15 goals and 13 assists. His move to Brighton completes a remarkable rise through the English football pyramid to the Premier League.
After spending time in Watford’s youth system, Azeez dropped into non-league football with Northwood before later featuring for Wealdstone and Hanwell Town. He joined Reading in 2019 and continued his development before securing a move to Millwall in 2024. Azeez has also made an impressive start to his international career with Nigeria. The winger scored twice on his Super Eagles debut against Zimbabwe’s Warriors in May , further underlining his growing reputation.
