The PanAfrican Capital Foundation (PAC Foundation), in partnership with Tropical General Investments (TGI) Group, has trained 36 aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs during the second edition of its Raising Young Entrepreneurs (RYE) Boot Camp in Lagos. The two-day intensive programme, held on August 28 and 29, 2026, at CitiHeight Hotel, aimed to equip young business owners with the practical skills, strategic insight, and networks needed to establish sustainable enterprises in today’s competitive market.
Organised by the corporate social responsibility arm of PanAfrican Capital Holdings, the cohort brought together founders across diverse sectors. The curriculum delivered a blend of masterclasses, hands-on workshops, fireside chats, and structured networking sessions led by seasoned industry experts. Core modules focused on critical business drivers, including entrepreneurial mindset development, market opportunity identification, corporate finance, pricing strategies, legal compliance, brand marketing, and pitch deck preparation for investor readiness.
TGI Group served as the official sponsoring partner for this year’s cohort. Beyond financial sponsorship, TGI Group executives actively participated in the boot camp sessions, mentoring participants directly and sharing operational insights from the conglomerate’s corporate journey. Executive Secretary Omolola Ojo said the collaboration between both organisations underscores a joint vision for economic development through youth inclusion.
“The partnership between PAC Foundation and TGI Group reflects a shared commitment to youth empowerment, entrepreneurship development, and sustainable economic growth,” Ojo said. “Such collaborations are essential to creating opportunities that enable young people to develop their ideas, build viable businesses, and contribute meaningfully to the economy.” Ojo emphasised that the interactive environment encouraged cross-sector peer collaboration and strategic connections that extend beyond the classroom setting.
The PAC Foundation confirmed that it will continue expanding the RYE initiative as part of its long-term strategy to promote economic self-reliance, drive local innovation, and build a resilient pipeline of future business leaders across Nigeria.
