Robotic Surgery In Nigeria – RCCG Acquires Surgical Robots The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has introduced robotic-assisted surgery in Nigeria with the acquisition of two advanced surgical robots at its Redeemer’s Health Village (RHV) in Lagos. The 300-bed multispecialty hospital said one robot will be used for clinical procedures, while the second will support the training of Nigerian surgeons and healthcare professionals.

RHV is also establishing a Robotic Academy to train surgeons, nurses, engineers and other specialists in robotic surgery.
The initiative is expected to improve access to complex surgical procedures in Nigeria, reduce medical tourism and help lower the cost of seeking specialized treatment abroad.
