AC Milan have praised Samuel Chukwueze after he recorded his second assist in the Serie A this season in Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Juventus. Chukwueze, who came on in the second half, set up his teammate Alphadjo Cissé to put Milan ahead against Juventus. The Old Lady, however, grabbed a stoppage time equaliser through Federico Gatti.
Chukwueze’s first assist in the Italian topflight this campaign came in Milan’s 2-1 away win against Torino on September 23. Reacting to Chukwueze’s performance, Milan wrote on their D handle: “Another assist recorded 📝.” Chukwueze is like a player reborn at Milan thanks to new head coach Ruben Amorim.

Amorim has primarily deployed Chukwueze as a right wing-back in a 3-4-2-1 system, emphasizing work rate, character, and ball control over pure defensive traits.
Amorim noted that defending is “about spirit and character, which Chukwueze has,” and that he has improved in that aspect. His system and public backing appear to suit Chukwueze’s pace, dribbling, and direct style better than earlier setups.
