David Ibiyeomie Rejects Yahoo Offerings – Says It’s Stolen Money Pastor David Ibiyeomie, founder and senior pastor of Salvation Ministries, has condemned internet fraud, popularly known as “Yahoo Yahoo,” warning fraudsters attending his church against bringing proceeds from the practice as offerings. Ibiyeomie made the remarks during a recent sermon while addressing the growing practice of internet fraud and its impact on victims.
The cleric described Yahoo Yahoo as outright stealing, arguing that taking money belonging to another person through fraudulent means remained theft, regardless of how perpetrators attempted to justify or portray the practice. “Yahoo is stealing. If you’re in this church and you’re doing Yahoo, please don’t give your offering here, go to another place,” Ibiyeomie said.

The pastor also warned Christians against maintaining close relationships with people involved in internet fraud, urging those who associate with fraudsters to distance themselves from the practice.
Ibiyeomie further recounted the alleged experience of a university professor and electrical engineer who, according to him, lost his entire savings after falling victim to internet fraud. The pastor maintained that economic hardship should not be used as an excuse to defraud unsuspecting victims, stressing that wealth obtained by taking what belongs to others should not be celebrated.
