Texas Children's Hospital (TCH) whistleblowers Eithan Haim and Vanessa Sivadge framed the political conflicts in the United States as part of a larger battle between good and evil during their speeches at the Republican National Midterm Convention in Dallas on Wednesday.
Haim and Sivadge appeared on stage together, with Haim taking the podium first and noting he potentially faced up to 10 years in prison under the Biden administration for leaking records in 2023 that allegedly exposed TCH's illegal use of puberty blockers on minors.
"All of it because Texas Children's Hospital, the largest children's hospital in the world, had told the public they shut down their gender program, but that was a lie, and I was the anonymous whistleblower who proved it," he said. Haim went on to recount that weeks after he anonymously leaked evidence that TCH was transitioning children in violation of Texas state law, armed federal agents showed up at his home.
He warned that the Democratic Party has already shown its willingness to weaponize federal law enforcement to enforce an ideology he described as evil. It was the simple fact that I told the truth about [Texas] Children's Hospital, [which] was manipulating, mutilating and sterilizing healthy young children, and lying about it," said Haim, who went on to explain why he believes the stakes in November are high. "Because the political movement we stand against, they will destroy this country. They will destroy everything we care about, just like they destroy these children.
But the past two years have taught us that we can fight back and we can win," he continued, noting that his case was dismissed
