Hassan Hammoud, Chairman and CEO of Mamuda Group, led a delegation of board members on an official visit to the Dangote Refinery in Lagos today. The visit included a meeting with Aliko Dangote, President and Chief Executive of Dangote Group, and his daughter, Fatima Dangote, Executive Director of Dangote Group. The delegation toured key sections of the refinery, one of the largest single-train petroleum refining facilities in the world.
The visit gave Mamuda Group leadership firsthand insight into the scale of the operation and its role in Nigeria’s industrial and energy sectors. Speaking after the visit, Hammoud described the Dangote Refinery as a defining achievement for African industry and a benchmark for large-scale investment on the continent.
He commended President Bola Tinubu for fostering an environment that supports bold industrial investment in Nigeria, and praised Aliko Dangote and Fatima Dangote for their vision and leadership in delivering a project of this scale. Mamuda Group operates across multiple sectors, including beverages, personal care, sacks, and consumer goods, with a growing presence in West and Central Africa.
